Andi Owen is the President and Chief Executive Officer of MillerKnoll, a global design leader formed in 2021 through the merger of Herman Miller and Knoll. This transformative union brought together a collective of iconic brands, including Holly Hunt, HAY, Geiger, Fully, Edelman Leather, DWR, DatesWeiser, and Colebrook Bosson Saunders, among others.
As a highly respected CEO and board member, Andi played a pivotal role in orchestrating the merger between Herman Miller and Knoll. Today, she oversees MillerKnoll’s global operations, leading nearly 11,000 team members and driving the company’s $4.1 billion in annual revenue. Under her leadership, the company continues to innovate, reimagine modern design, and redefine the future of the industry.
With more than 30 years of experience, Andi is renowned for her expertise in strategic transformation, digital innovation, business development, and trend analysis. Before the creation of MillerKnoll, she served as President and CEO of Herman Miller, where she led the organization’s operations across 27 countries. Prior to joining Herman Miller, Andi held executive roles at Banana Republic, overseeing P&L activities and managing thousands of employees worldwide.
Andi also contributes her leadership to several boards in the design and manufacturing sectors. She serves as Chair of HAY, a Danish company specializing in contemporary furniture and home accessories, and is a board member of Business Leaders of Michigan, Taylor Morrison, and the National Association of Manufacturers. Additionally, she chairs the MillerKnoll Foundation, which focuses on engaging underrepresented youth in art and design on a global scale.
Andi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary and has completed Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School.
